Today I can finally show you the 8th challenge mani in the Let It Snow! challenge. It calls for icicles! :)
The base color is OPI Breathe Life, 3 coats.
Next I used China Glaze Icicle and a short-haired nail art brush to draw thin icicles on my nails. I went over the icicles a second time. They weren't very visible on the light background the first time round.
I then added some "ice crystals" to the icicles and topcoated my nails. They are clear rhinestones from the 1-Euro store.
I really like how they turned out! In all honesty I haven't liked a recent mani as much as this - it's wintery, icy and shiny! The base color looks everything from icy blue to pale lilac to soft grey. I even got some cute stares from my piano students but they were too afraid to ask. I wonder where that comes from ;)
